This should be removed from the play store but I guess that one junior Android developer went back to school after summer.
I used to think Alpine was the best in car audio. With my current set up? I changed my mind. This app proves they are clueless to how people use their stereos for or how to build an app that works.
Love it
App requires far too many permissions for access to your smartphone. All I want it to do is be a remote control for the head unit not to see my media files or address book. Damn thing won't connect anyway to my CDE-178BT. Can't give it no stars, so read one star as a no star rating. Useless and pointless app!
Garbage app and software
My deck says the same thing its to old and it needs updating but no update is available
Just bought an Alpine deck for my truck. I had to download this app for it to play my music. The app gives an error message saying that the app is too old to properly run my deck. It manages to sometimes play my stuff, sometimes not. This sucks!!
Totally useless.

The application out of date and should be updated or removed as does not connect with any of the Alpine products specifically ilx-w650.
